Alicja Szemplińska is announced as the Official Artist of the 28th World Men’s Handball Championship in January.
One of the most promising singers of the young generation in our country, the winner of “The Voice of Poland”, has already presented herself to handball fans with her song “Empires” in the Concert Hall of the National Polish Radio Orchestra in Katowice during the Final Draw. Her performance made a huge impression on the guests of the event. Today it is officially known that Alicja will also perform the Official Song of the tournament, which will premiere this autumn. – It is a huge responsability and a huge honour – Alicja said.

Alicja Szemplińska is a twenty-year-old artist, so far mostly know with winning the Voice of Poland, now begins a new stage in her career. Her music is inspired by Jorja Smith and Aliyah. Alicja’s new songs show her love for R’n’B and soul music. The songs are written by the Artist, and she creates the musical layer with new producers. The single that opens the new stage is “IDK”, the first track fully written by Alice. The premiere took place shortly after Alicja’s 20th birthday, symbolically closing her teenage years and the way of music so far.
28th World Men’s Handball Championship will take place from 11 to 29 January 2023 in Katowice, Silesia, Krakow, Malopolska, Plock and Gdańsk (Poland) as well as in Goteborg, Malmo, Stockholm, Kristianstad and Jonkoping (in Sweden). Opening Game and Opening Ceremony will be held in Katowice’s Spodek. The National Supplier in our country is Eventim, which distributes tickets for this event.
